Asking the person for a date

How much ever a brave heart we might be as a person, when it actually comes to asking a person for a date, one generally develops weak knees. Understandable! There is always this fear of rejection. What if she says no? Does it mean that she’s not interested in me? Does it mean she does not like me? Well, this is not true. For starters, everyone gets a weak knee when they have to ask someone for a date. Though it is not something as big as proposing for marriage, it is at least a tiny step most likely leading to that very question soon. Do not let the fear of rejection hold you back from dating. Take dating as a very casual social activity just like going and playing a game of snooker. Yes, even a game of snooker can actually be a date if both you and your partner are snooker addicts. So make the first move. Choose the right time and the right moment to ask. When you have to ask make sure that you take him or her to a place where there aren’t too many people to over hear your personal conversation. This is done so that both the people feel comfortable. Be polite and take the response, whatever it may be in a gentle manner. Don’t take it too personally. Remember, dating is just like any other activity. Another common misconception is that guys get put off if a girl makes the first move in the dating arena. This is not true at all. There are many guys who are shy to make the first move. So the girls can actually ask them for a date, making the first move. Once this is done, the guy will be glad and thank you and take on from there onwards. Stop being a chicken, it is after all a date, not some life determining decision of your life!
